Why Gintani?
Fabrication, plumbing, cooling, and clutch scope are matched to the inspected vehicle and documented in the proposal.
Fuel, boost, controls, drivability, and the required validation process are planned as one build program.
Post-install checks, drivability follow-up, and future calibration needs are discussed for each build.
Frequently Asked Questions
Answers for common fitment, installation, and support questions.
Turbo programs are planned through our Los Angeles facility. The proposal confirms installation location, transport, calibration method, validation plan, and delivery requirements for the specific build.
Lead time depends on the selected scope, parts availability, fabrication, machine work, and transport. A build window is included with the written proposal before work is scheduled.
Stage X includes a fully built engine and proprietary billet transmission. Your existing engine and transmission are used as cores for the rebuild and must be returned to Gintani as part of the build.
Calibration and control-system scope are defined in the written build proposal. The stage descriptions show the current program structure, but final hardware, software, fuel, and validation requirements are confirmed for the vehicle before pricing.
Yes. We routinely tailor kits to existing modifications, goals, and driving environment. Note your requested changes when you submit the quote form and we will follow up before pricing the build.
Reversibility depends on the approved build scope. Removing a turbo system may still require restoring fuel, clutch, exhaust, cooling, wiring, and calibration changes. Engine or transmission machine work is not reversible; the proposal identifies permanent work before authorization.
